Where are My Phoenetic Markings?

Both of my English dictionaries lack phoenetic markings. For example:
sa•trap \ˈsā-ˌtrap also ˈsa-ˌtrap or ˈsa-trəp\ - when I copy and paste it appears as shown. In L4 the markings have question marks. Is there a way to remedy this?

Have you changed the default font? Issues like this are usually caused by a font that doesn't have all the symbols the book wants to display. Try changing the font books use.

Thanks for the help. Changing to Times New Roman worked for Merriam-Webster but not the Concise Oxford English Dictionary. However, the ? changed to a box in the COED. Strange. At least I have the markings on one. Thanks again.

I have no big issues with either dictionary and I use the Default font.
