Oxford handbooks right to left scripts

I am not sure whether Oxford handbooks are supposed to be read from cover to cover, but I did it for this book. It was much more interesting than I had expected:

It seems to have an issue with right-to-left texts being left-to-right. This example is in Aramaic in Hebrew letters (on page 353) and I could not verify it, but there are also Hebrew examples in the same book and they were also in the wrong direction. I assume the same issue is in all the Oxford Handbooks by Logos.

And the plot thickens: 2 of the 3 are backwards in the print.

I'll be able to fix these and I'll spot check the others and let the publisher know. I believe your screenshot is correct (minus an incorrect final letter which has been fixed.)

Well, thanks or asking, Amodeo! Actually I did not know it is a reader's edition. I have had the impression that all Logos books are research editions. I have to find out more what those definitions actually mean. In this case I did not need the research functionality yet. Many links do work, like NPNF.

FL has begun to produce these Readers Editions for titles they intend to release on the same day as the publishers release their editions. I'm actively inquiring FL's intentions with this particular series as they are both high quality and expensive. I would like to know if and when they plan to upgrade these titles to Research Editions. Thanks for your input.

Actually I did have eye strain while reading it. I am in the countryside as a hillbilly in my summer log cabin, using my laptop which has a small screen.

I am trying to alleviate the eye strain by using a large font, and by setting the line spacing to "loose".

I also changed the font to "Century Schoolbook" which is helped a lot, at least I feel so.

I doubt that they have ever upgraded any resources from Reader to Research, or that they have any plans to do so with any resources.

Hmm - I seem to remember posts about folks getting 'free' updates when their Reader editions transformed into Research editions. Most of the discussion predated the 'Wordsearch Confusion'.

Whilst I cannot provide specific examples; I am certain that your doubts are unfounded.

I think you are confusing "ebook" editions and "reader" editions. The word search titles were "ebooks" and (many) are in the process of being updated... but they are being updated to either "reader" or "research" editions.

The category of "reader" editions is fairly new and I am unaware of any resource moving from a "reader" to a "research" edition. That doesn't mean that none will.
