Last Sunday in church we had an interesting discussion about a passage in Mark that was different from the NKJV. Of course, there are several passages that differ between the NIV and NKJV.
I had never read the translator's info in the NIV and so I opened a copy. Surprised there was nothing in the Preface, just blank space. So, I opened all of my NIV versions (4) and sure enough none of them had any information even though the content panel showed a listing.
Question: Shouldn't there be Translator information in each version? I don't own a hard-back copy and therefore I was depending on my digital copies.
OK, when I was typing the question above, the thought occurred to me, I have the NIV in Wordsearch. So I Checked over there and sure enough, the Preface is available in their resource.
I do think my Logos resources should have the information in the resource as well, don't you think?
