This has probably been suggested before but I could not find it....
I use Notes and Notebooks a lot as probably most people do. So I set up a notebook ( say "Holy Spirit") that has maybe 20 - 30 notes and I tag each note in that notebook as "HS-1, 2, etc". This way I can search my notes in the notebook. Which is great. But I would like to make a way of going back and forth in my notes which I find would be helpful in my study of that particular subject.
What I do now, as a work-a-round, I put in my note "Next scripture reference" and Prev scripture reference" so that I can go back and forth through my notes in my studies. This is workable but is ambiguous to a sense because I have to click the "next scripture reference" in my note.. which throws me out of notes and back into the Bible. then I have to click on the note reference in the Bible to get back to the next note and etc for the "Previous scripture reference" should I want to do the previous note. This "back and forth" can be a detriment to concentration of studying. And probably confusing to some. And more confusion is added if one (like me) has more Notebooks that reference the same scripture.
What would be great is to be able in my notebook to use the "Note Tags" for this purpose. For example... I have a notebook called "Holy Spirit" which has 25 notes. So I go to note 10 (tagged as "HS-10") of that notebook. All notes in the notebook must be follow some naming convention designated by the customer.
Each note would need to have 2 pointers set up in the note automatically. These pointers would be set up when each note tag is created. Say I am in note 10 of the "Holy Spirit" notebook.... it would have 2 pointers: 1 to the next tag (HS-11) or such tag as determined by the the customer and 1 to the previous tag (HS-9) or what tag the customer has designated. Customer determines where the pointers go. These pointers would work directly in notes and get rid of the current back to Bible and back to notes by using the Next and Prev scripture reference work-a-round that I am currently using.
This way the Notes system becomes a more concrete study system. I don't know about anyone else.... but I need all the help I can get.
Thanks for listening.
