Navigating a book

On my Ipad i can/t find a way to open up a table of contents to jump to a specific place.

Hi Robert - and welcome to the forums

If you tap a page in a book you should see some controls appear at the top - including information about location (page numbers if they are present in that book).

To the right of that box is a button with four small horizontal lines.

Tap that to get access to the table ot contents.

If that doesn't work, please advise
