Pining favorite tools to resource toolbars

Please allow favorite resource tools to be pinned to resource toolbars (not sure what these are officially called). For instance, when I want to apply a visual filter to a Bible, I have to scroll down through a very long list that takes a lot of hunting to find the right one(s). Please allow me to right click on an entry and pin it to the toolbar or drag it to the marked area of the included image. This would make using commonly used filters and similar tools far more efficient. This would be a great use for some currently unutilized space.

Also, Faithlife please add a link to the feedback site in the shortcuts at the top of the forums along with Logos.com, Bible, Org, etc...It would help make them much more visible and might encourage more use.

I'm not quite sure I understand. At the top of the tools menu is a place to pin your favorites. But as I read your request, it sounds like you may be wanting to pin the palette within the highlighting tool rather than the highlighting tool itself. Am I confused?

I'm suggesting the ability to be able to pin tools, not resources. If you open a resource such as a Bible, you will see a set of tools at the top of the resources toolbar. These are visual filters, factbook, etc. Visual filters opens to a long list of dozens and dozens of entries. This makes switching them on and off on the fly rather inefficient. I would like to be able to pin these submenu tools (such as discourse visual filter) and others to the blank space to the right of the existing so I can easily turn the ones I use the most on and off with a single click without having to scroll through a crazy long list.

Thanks for the clarification. You currently can place items from the Tools menu on the shortcut bar but individual items within tools do not appear to be able to be placed on the shortcut bar or in favorites. It could be useful to be able to do so.

I would just argue that these shortcuts need to be on the resource's toolbar next to the existing resource specific tools, not on the general shortcuts bar. If you have multiple resources open it could get unwieldy as to knowing which resources it would affect. All open? Just the selected? Better to keep the behavior clearly tided to each resource like the current filter and resource tools.
