Do you make use of an electronic pen when using Logos 9.x?
Will it highlight on say an Ipad Air4 or a Surface Pro 7 well?
Do you only scroll with the pen or use it in other ways within Logos?
I have an Acer laptop with touch screen and pen, four years old, Windows 10.
Highlighting is easy.
I can scroll using my finger, but not with the the pen.
I can also use the pen as "right-click" to get the menu.
I am using the highest screen resolution and sometimes a small font, thus aiming the pen can sometimes be challenging. Otherwise I like using the pen.
On the iPad side, there are two kinds. The fancy one is the Apple Pencil, and it has great uses… but not in Logos. The app isn’t designed for it, so the Apple Pencil is a $100+ finger.
The other kind is simply a touch capacitive stick… essentially a price of plastic with a rubber tip. Again, a replacement for your finger. For the purposes of Logos, there is no reason to get an Apple Pencil.
awesome. I heard I need a Mac OS Big Sur hardware too and no ipad or portable tablet has it yet I can see. I really wanted a detachable. Will go back to Windows again.

"Big Sur" is the name of the current operating system for Macs. It isn't the hardware, but yes, you would need a Mac to run the full desktop app.
