My Highlighters have quit working

I can't highlight in my books using the Hot Keys. 

I don't know what happened but they quit working after one of the last two updates that came out.

Have you verified that your visual filters are turned on? It is possible, for example, that you actually ARE creating highlight notes, you just don't see them.
