Logos 4 for MAC taking all my system resources

I mentioned in another thread that I am constantly getting a spinning beach ball while running Logos 4 for MAC Beta 1. I was having the same issues with the last two alphas. I am attaching a screenshot of my activity monitor which shows Logos taking over 193% of my CPU! No wonder I am seeing the beach ball. It fluctuates between 100 and 195% all the time. Any suggestions?

I am experiencing something similar. Logos is and has been very sluggish for a while. Now that you have drawn my attention to it, I note that Logos is taking just over 50% of my processing resources, even while it is sitting idle. That would probably explain why I often get the beach ball also. Sorry I can't help, but thanks for pointing it out.

Beta 2 seems to have resolved my issues for the time being. Activity Monitor shows Logos Using less than 5% of my CPU while idle now. We'll see if it stays that way.

For most people the issue has been one of constant syncing (the cause of which we're trying to pin point). If you "Set Use Internet to No" in the command bar, does it help?
Also, if you post your logs, we may be able to identify the particular issue.

Attached are the logs for a crash I had this morning, which came soon after it started to get sluggish again. It seems to start up and operate okay for awhile, but then it seems to occur most often when I am trying to move resources by dragging and dropping the tab.
Thanks.

I'm seeing similar behavior, particularly when I do several actions in sequence, like using up/down arrows multiple times or using scroll wheel on mouse to move thru text. This afternoon I crashed the program by using <CMD> <R ARROW> to cycle thru parallel resources. Logs are attached for that crash. I started seeing this in A26/27 ( http://community.logos.com/forums/p/20041/151043.aspx#151043 ) and am still seeing it in B2.
I thought maybe it was a layout or sync problem, so I first renamed and removed my layouts.db, but no change. (Of note, even syncing, my layouts were never restored!) After that I set use internet to off, but still no change.
Thanks!
