instaled a new hard drive on my laptop and need to know what the procediure is to download L4. Your help will be greatly appreciated

I thought you cloned you drive and were going to copy the image back to your new drive.

mark it didnt work any ideas now. one good thing i got my new 500gb 7200ram and 4g ram on and it really makes a big difference. it wiped out my wd external and it no longer works

Do you mean your cloning program formatted the drive or it no longer physically works? I think you should see a computer technician as they should be able to clone your old drive onto the new one.
