I notice that my post count has been reset and now I have to show that "I'm not a robot." When and why did this change take place?
Most probably you changed your email address. Customer Service should be able to restore the post count

Thanks, NB.Mick. You are right about the email address. I did contact customer service, but have not heard back yet. I'm really not concerned about the post count. What I don't like is having to prove I'm not a robot if I post anything.
