Slides issue in Sermon Builder

I'm new to using Sermon builder and am very attracted by the features, especially automatic generation of slides.

The demonstration videos say the default slide style is white text on back in 16x9. However, I have 3 issues...

  1. For some reason my default slide size is 4x3 with some sort of palm tree background
  2. When I change this to a different background (a 16x9 I uploaded myself) then try to apply this change to all slides nothing happens. Sometimes everything defaults back to 4x3 palm trees - which is the opposite of what I'm trying to achieve!
  3. Even if I manually change every slide myself (to 16x9 in a nicer background) when it exports to Powerpoint I get ugly slides squashed back into 4x3 format.

Can anyone help? I'm very keen to persevere and make this work because the features look great but it's driving me nuts at the moment.

    Peter,

I'm testing this on my end too but have some questions.

    1. The palm tree background picture you say is your default slide, is that one you uploaded at some point or was it just a stock image already there?

    2. When you try to manually change every slide yourself to the 16x9 in a nicer background, is that image you're trying to change it to one of your own or one of the images provided within the program?

    3. What type of device are you using and are you seeing this behavior on the desktop app, the web app or the mobile app?

Thanks for this info as we continue to look into it.

    Thanks Austin, appreciate you replying.

    1. The 4x3 palm tree things is a stock image that appeared to already be there.

    2. The 16x9 image is one of my own, although I’m having the same issue if I use one of the stock Faithlife 16x9 images.

    3. I’m on a mac but having the same issue on iPad.

    Thanks so much
