Resource: The Vitality of Worship: A Commentary on the Book of Psalms

The resource has been opened from the passage guide in Psalm 104:1-9
A second copy of my preferred Bible NIV - Anglicised is open in the adjoining panel. This resource has Send hyperlinks here checked.
Hovering mouse over hyperlink reveals Biblical text as per this screenshot:
Clicking on the hyperlink moves the commentary to Psalm 29 rather than the Bible resource. See this second screenshot:
The problem seems to be restricted to these two hyperlinks highlighted in this screenshot (other hyperlinks work as expected:

When you right click those links what options are shown on the RHS for the reference (if any) - it would be best to upload an image. I'm expecting the word "Link" followed by the title of the commentary because the content is not simply the text of the bible verse.

BTW a bit more space between images would show your comments more clearly.

The Bible option explains why you get the text from the bible in the popup as well as the text from Ps 29 of the Commentary. The Link, being a hard link, makes the destination mandatory!

A hard link is used to direct a link to its intended destination when the author is referring to Ps 29 in the commentary. The hard copy or the Introduction may clarify references that begin with see. Why do you think it is otherwise? Does the non-bible quote in the popup not come from the commentary?

The popup offers both the Biblical text and the paragraph from the commentary, as in the screenshot:

Indeed, I can see nothing from the commentary text in the popup which mentions the forces of chaos, though the biblical text does. I suppose that is why I expected to find the biblical text referenced rather than the commentary text.

The author was my professor of Old Testament at Glasgow University from 1988-91, when I was studying for my B.D. (Hons.). He was brilliant on wisdom literature (Psalms and Ecclesiastes especially) and Septuagint. I still refer to notes I took in his lectures when I am preaching on the Psalms. I am surprised to find him alluding so generally to another part of his book, for he was very precise in cross-referencing and demanded that same precision of his students, including me. And believe me in a class of three there was no place to hide!

I'm not sure what you mean by the distinction of hard link. is there another kind?

If you click Link on the Context menu there is only one resource. If you click Bible it will give you a choice of resources (eg. Bibles). If you double-click the reference it will take you to the fixed (hard) Link destination. If Link was not present it would go to your preferred bible.

The best way to resolve this is to make a comment via Report Typo.
