Copy/Paste Footnote font too big - Word 365

I am using Logos 9.7.0.0025 on a PC running Windows 10.

When I copy/paste from a commentary/book in Logos into Word 365, the font of the footnotes is 12. I would really like the footnotes to automatically be size 10. (I have tried "keep source formatting" and "merge formatting" options when pasting into Word.)

If I just insert a footnote in Word myself (not copy/paste), it is font 10. So within Word, my footnote formatting is 10, yet if I copy/paste from Logos, the footnotes are always pasted as 12.

In Logos settings, I have selected "copy footnotes as" "footnotes". Same thing happens if I change that to "auto".

Is this just how it is with Logos, or is there a way to change a setting so that footnotes paste in size 10 font?

It appears that when pasting from LOGOS into WORD, WORD forces the Normal style on all text. I wasn't able to figure out a workaround on this yet besides creating a footnote style and manually applying after pasting. When copying from LOGOS into Word the font is controlled by the WORD Document. The below will at least have the copied text adopt the format in the normal style. To do this the first thing you need to do is control how outside sources paste within word. You do this by following the path below and changing the setting in WORD.

Go to File > Options > Advanced. Under Cut, copy, and paste, select the down arrow for the setting to change.

In your case, the setting is most likely 'Pasting from other programs' select Merge Formatting

Next, the area you paste into would adopt the style of that section of the document. In this step, you would need to make sure that styles reflect the format you want the pasted text to adopt.
