Unable to change Bible selected in Reading Plan on Mac

I have just set up a reading from - reading through Matthew, by pericope in 80 sessions.

I initially set it up on my MacBook - running the stable release of 9.7 - but I was unable to specify a non-default Bible for the plan (I was trying to use the NLT but checked with others as well)

When it had synced to my Windows system - running the beta of 9.8 - I was able to change the Bible with no problem.

I doubt if this is beta-relateed - can another Mac user check if they see the same issue please?
