Is there a way to create a personal "study Bible" in Logos 9?  Print the text of the Bible in an upper panel and print my Notes in a lower panel like the Scofield or MacArthur type study Bibles?

    Welcome to the Forums David.

If I wanted to do that I would embrace the technology and use one panel for the Bible, perhaps in an upper quadrant, and a second for my notes, perhaps in a lower quadrant. Would this meet your requirements?

If you are thinking of producing a printed (on paper) book then probably Logos is the wrong tool for typesetting.

You could create a Personal Book with type Study Bible:

    • Export your Notes to a docx file (but you have to add Anchors in many cases)
    • format as required
    • Add bible text as Dynamic Text from any bible version
    • compile the PB
