Highlights from a Bible that has been updated

I am aware of the update that has been done with the NLT this week - https://community.logos.com/forums/t/202886.aspx and I want to ask a question that may be related to this.

In my Bible reading this week which included Ezekiel 20:34 I saw that I made a highlighting mistake on including the first few words of :35 and wanted to find out which version I originally highlighted the text. By turning off each version I found out that it was the 2007:NLT. (see the screenshot below)

Since then the NLT was updated (in 2013). Each time there is an Bible version update I change the name of the Bible to include the year that it was updated. So the version 2007:NLT doesn't exist any more in my library and I have now titled it 2013:NLT.

My questions are:

How can I correct the highlighting mistake I made now that the 2007 edition no longer exists? The 2007 version is not in my library and the highlighting doesn't appear in the 2013 edition.
Will my visual filters always include the old text even if it doesn't exist? i.e. 2007:NLT
On a broader scale, does this mean that highlights will be lost as new versions of the translation are released?

If I understand your screenshot correctly, you are showing the Notes Visual Filter for the NLT - and it shows a notebook called 2007: New Living Translation.

Can you post a screenshot showing the note you are referring to in that notebook?

Can you post a screenshot showing the note you are referring to in that notebook?

No I can't Graham because 2007: New Living Translation doesn't seem to exist in my library any more. Instead it has been replaced with the 2013: New Living Translation.

Sorry Graham. I misread your questions and realized you were speaking of the notebook. Here is a screenshot of the notebook but I can't seem to open it. Could that be because the resource was updated? Am I missing something?

You have opened the Notebook. Remove the text from the Search box (above All >) to see the notes!

When resource text is changed you won't lose your notes/highlights/VF's, but they may be misaligned partially or totally.

I think I understand this. I'm not sure how I go back to a resource that doesn't now exist and change a highlight that I mistakenly made at that time.

You can check for misaligned text in the Notes tool for the current resource e.g. rvants of Christ. It will be more difficult if the misalignment is a whole word e.g. servants of Christ, doing instead of bond servants of Christ
