re-arranging windows in a 3 pane layout
Hi,
I use a vertical 3 pane layout and want the 3 panes to be arranged in a specific order. Dragging dropping merges the pane I'm dragging into one of the others so that doesn't work. If I try making one of the panes a floating window to reposition it, then one of the other 2 panes fills the space was open so that doesn't work. How do I reposition the 3 panes so that I can have them in the order I want?
thanks
RP

Open 3 resources then click the 3 vertical; Drag the tab of the resource you want to move to the column you wish AND HOLD THE MOUSE THERE FOR A MOMENT until a grey box appears, then release the mouse. IF it merges the tabs into one panel, you can select one of the tabs in that panel and drag AND HOLD it to the 1/3 that you want then release. (additionally you can then resize the windows IF you want to give more screen to one panel.

Hi again David - another related question - how do I change the size of one of the 3 panes? for example, I have several resources open in my right pane, but Id like to have the strongs open up in it's own pane underneath the current right had pane, However, if I undock strongs so that it floats, I cannot figure out how to shorten the length of the right hand pane and then put the pane with stro0ngs underneath I hope this makes sense.
Thanks for your help
