Greek text not updating with selection

I am having an issue trying to keep the Greek words staying current with the next text selection. I put a video here. I'm on a Mac 2019 with the current OS, but it has been a problem since Logos 7

I'm not on a Mac, but on my Windows I can only replicate the behavior your video is showing when I don't click the subsequent words (actually t seems your video showed it working on your machine when you clicked on "Christ" after the clicked-on phrase being "have believed"), but select them (i.e. having the mouse button clicked and moving over the word), so that the selection menu is showing. I imagine this may occur more often when one is using a trackpad instead of a mouse or maybe if there's a slight tremor in the hand. Not sure if there are other ways to induce this on a Mac, and I don't know where to configure Logos or the machine (mouse sensitivity somewhere?) to avoid it.

I think Mick is probably right in his diagnosis.
I've just tried this on Mac and it operates correctly when I click words.
As Mick says, the fact that the Selection menu pops up suggests you are selecting a word (which wouldn't update the RI ribbon) as opposed to just clicking it.
I am using a MacBook with a trackpad - what sort of pointing device are you using?

I am only using left click on my mouse using bluetooth connection So I am not clicking with context or right clicking. I went into preferences and chose Smart Selection and it seems to work a little better but I have to double click to get it to coordinate with the Greek
