Search Query Request - God Tests us...

To Whom it May Concern:

(Most-Excellent Logos Users!)  

Would you be so kind as to provide me with specific and simple directions to do the following?

I want to look up all the places in scripture that say that God tests human beings.

For example, Eccl. 3:18 where it says, "God is testing them..."

Is there a way to specify God as the subject and Test as the verb?

What about a way to include times when "He" refers to God with Test as the verb?

    This is a proximity search which includes your test verse among its results. Of course there are false positives included, but this will get you started the link is live. <Person God> WITHIN 3 WORDS (test, tries)

    In a clause search, some variation of subject-sense:God (Israelite) verb-sense:to test character ⇔ test object  should meet your needs.
