Table of Contents - question

On a mac, is there a way to click on a hyperlink on the table of contents at the beginning of a resource (not the sidebar toc) and have the resource open in a parallel pane? I can use command-click to open the link in a tab behind the current pane, but not in a pane that's next to the open resource.

You can drag the link to wherever you want to place the panel.

thanks, I was aware of that too and it's a great feature, but was hoping there was a keyboard shortcut.
