Email Address Change Question-Desktop App

I just changed my Faithlife account email address. Do I still need to perform some form of sign out and sign back into the Logos desktop app for the email address change to take place in the desktop app?

Sign out from the top "Account" menu of Logos if you are satisfied that your resource history, etc comes under the new email address.
