Delete Highlights with Highlight Style "None"

I feel somewhat foolish - for years I thought the "Remove Highlight" button actually deleted the highlight. Today, I found out that it doesn't delete the highlight; it only changes the Highlight Style to "None." (Not sure why you would ever want that, but I digress).

My question is, how can I select all the Highlights with Highlight Style = "None" and delete them? I'm pretty sure I have thousands of them...

(I tried searching {Highlight None} and that didn't work).

Thanks!

Highlights are notes. Someone might want to have a note, attached to a selection, without a highlighter style applied.

Im currently away from my computer so I can’t troubleshoot

You can select Highlights in the Notes tool but there is no way to identify and select all those with style "None". You will have to identify them by the highlight icon (circle with diagonal line) and delete them individually. You can ease the burden by selecting highlights from a resource, or a bible book, etc.
