Possible new user with questions

I have been introduced to Logos by a Notes (only) user. I am figuring out Notes a little bit (seems pretty straightforward). However, in kind of looking around at the software it seems like there is just too much stuff. I started briefly looking at workflows and that seems like it might be a good tool.

Any thoughts about what I should be looking for, keeping in mind, not getting overwhelmed, etc?

You will get help here for almost anything you want to do. You will get the most useful help if you know what you want to do.

I guess there are two obvious strategies you can adopt either...

... explain why you are exploring the bible and whether you are preacher, a scholar, or just have a personal interest in biblical studies. If you do this similar folk will give you advice about their journey with Logos and suggest things you might like to do.

... explain what outcomes you want from your studies. A sermon, a class lesson, input to a study group etc. If you do this you will get more focused ideas about how to accomplish your goals.

You are right there is a huge amount of facilities in Logos and I would think most users only regularly use a subset of the features. However few users use exactly the same sub-set of features.
