Searching in Library -restrict search to title
Hello,
While searching in the Library (Logos 9 free version , windows 10 ), suppose I am searching for commentaries on "Daniel", it should restrict search to the TITLE only. I get all books where the Author is named Daniel also !!!
So I get a bunch of books but none of them are what i want.
Is there a way to restrict search to the TITLE only.
Thanks
Kevin

Yes. Use the title field (e.g., title:Daniel).
But that will find any resource with Daniel in its title. You'll also want to narrow to type:commentary (or use the sidebar facet).
So, title:Daniel type:commentary.
But that'll miss commentaries on Daniel that don't mention Daniel in their title (e.g., whole Bible commentaries, OT commentaries, commentaries on the minor prophets).
I'd recommend using the Factbook filter for Daniel and type:commentary.
You could also just use the Commentaries guide section.

That wouldn't have occurred to me. Thanks for the tip.
But I'd like to point out a usability issue with the order of Bible books in the Factbook facet menu. It is hard to find Daniel in there! How am I supposed to know the number of Daniel commentaries I have relative to other books? It would be more helpful if this list were sorted by Bible book order, or alphabetically (or at least if there were a setting so we could view them in our preferred order even if normal facet behavior -- frequency -- was the default order).
