Is there an easy way to clear the highlighting from a large selection of a resource? Say the first five books of the O.T. or the first 20 chapters of Acts.
How much highlighting do you have throughout that section? If you only have occasional highlightings the best way may be to step through the highlightings for that section and delete them one at a time.
Thanks, Philip. That is useful on a small scale. However, the amount of highlighting I'm looking at would be on a scale that would make it too tedious to go highlight by highlight. I was hoping there was some "clear all" type functionality.
Why not highlight the entire portion you want to de-highlight and use erase in the highlight menu? It's not totally effortless but not really that difficult. You can start the highlight at the beginning, go to the end of the portion and complete the highlighting using the shift key and cursor.
If your going to do this I recommend floating the window with the TOC revealed so you can see how much you have highlighted. Set the font to the smallest font so that as much text is showing as possible (it will scroll faster). I used to do this in L3 when I needed to print from Word.
I'll give that a try. Thanks!
Another option would be to click on the visual filters icon and uncheck the highlight. The highlight won't be cleared but you won't see it.
