How can a syntactic analysis of the SBL Greek New Testament provide the opportunity to gather data on prepositional phrases with particular prepositions and particular prepositional objects?
I'm not sure I understand your question - depending upon what information you want you use a morphology, clause or syntax search to pull out the data you need.
I want to find the data in John 1 and then cite them for a research paper.
Parks, James. Greek Grammatical Constructions Documentation. Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, 2015. gives the format for a preposition label search which will do what you want.
Aubrey, Rachel, Michael Aubrey. Greek Prepositions in the New Testament: A Cognitive-Functional Description. Lexham Research Lexicons. Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press, 2020. will provide some background information.
