The below is a screen shot during a full index. The New MacBook Pro is only using between close to 38% of the CPU power. And under 10gb of the ram.

Correct. I think (as I can't find the thread) it will use up to 5-6 cores/threads i.e. up to 6 resources at a time dependent on RAM. Now that 8, 10 cores (16, 20 threads with hyperthreading) are more common I would imagine that Faithlife will revise that.

Considering coolness of Apple Silicon during intensive processing could allow indexing unthrottling for faster indexing on newer Apple Silicon (without being a thermal threat for heat damaging computer).
