Layouts do not sync properly

I have three main Layouts, Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms. If I exit the Windows Desktop program in any of those, it opens fine the next time. If I open in New Testament, switch to Psalms, and then switch back to New Testament, it does some strange thing that I did not set up. Yesterday began in New Testament in Colossians 3, manually synced, then opened Psalms (Psalm 23) then closed it and reopened New Testament in which I had been studying Colossians 3. When the New Testament opened, somehow 2 Samuel 12 popped up along with all my New Testament Greek lexicons closed and Old Testament Hebrew lexicons open. What am I doing wrong. This ALWAYS happens... sooooooooooo frustrating.

If these are named layouts, then they need to be saved in the Layouts menu with Update Active before switching to another layout. Tell us what you did when you  "manually synced" a layout and then "closed" another. A screenshot of the New Testament layout would help.
