Inverted words in reverse interlinears
Why are there inverted words in the reverse interlinear? How do these inverted words work within concordances and lexicons?

The Reverse interlinear has the original language words in the order of the translation just as the interlinear has the translation words in the order of the original language.

The order of original language words does not affect their use in lexicons, which work with the individual word that is selected. The (vertical) alignment is more important as the translated word(s) should correspond to the original language word in the reverse interlinear. The Concordance tool makes its own list of words from the reverse interlinear, and you can arrange and combine them how you like. But it has to maintain the alignment of original language to translated words. You can access lexicons from the individual lemmas.
