When I click to show the sidebar of Factbook, it behaves as expect.
When I click to close the sidebar, the format of the sidebar changes but the data persists.

Can you provide more details? I'm not able to reproduce this.
Unfortunately, I can't. While it was consistently repeatable at the time this happened, it eventually corrected itself. When it happens again, I'll capture the logs.
