Disable context menu when highlighting text

Hola!

Is there any way to disable the context menu when I highlight a text? I have an app that allows me to select & translate. When I use it, the context menu gets in the way. Just like my app does. I can disable it when not in use.

BTW, the app is QTranslate. It's very useful!

I know of no way to disable the context menu but I am puzzled - the context menu requires a right click so a select shouldn't affect it. If, perchance, you are speaking of the Selection Menu which requires only a selection of the text, then yes Program Settings --> Show Selection Menu can be turned off. use Tool Menu or Application Menu to get to Program Settings.
