As you can see above, anytime I try to copy and past a section from any resource into my notes as a hyperlink, it doesn't work. I went to my panel and switched it to "L4" for Copy As Location, but when I copy the text and then go to my notes, click the chain link, and paste my copied text into the chain link and save it, it doesn't create a link.

Hi Justin, welcome to the forums [Y]

There are a few ways of pasting a link into a note.

RED HIGHLIGHT - If you are wanting to paste all of what you are highlighting into the note, with it linked back to the resource it comes from, you can just paste directly into the note after copying the text. This will add a link at the bottom of the pasted text configured by your Citation Style that is defined in Program Settings.

GREEN HIGHLIGHT - You can also add some arbitary text yourself, and then make that a link by using the link button. You will have had to had just copied the L4 location.
You can either go back into the TOTC resource panel menu and click the 'Copy location as' L4 button again, which will copy the just the link at that point, or you can highlight the text and use the shortcut that it shows to the far right of the 'Copy location as: which for Windows is Ctrl-Alt-C, add your text that you want linked in the note as in my example 'THE GIFT OF WISDOM FROM TOTC', highlight that, and then use the link button to link back to the TOTC.

I suspect that you are trying to paste all the text as in my Red example, into the link button in the Note, which will just not work.
