BUG: 4.1B2: Location within ESV etc really messed up after resize

(This has been around for a long time, but I have linked this report against the above specific build so it has a context for the future, when it may no longer be a bug.)

To explain background:

I have Toolbar Icons for "Set Program Scaling to 100%" and for 140%, and switch back and forward many times as I work with different panels open. I also use the size/scaling within a given panel, to resize the text. I like to change this often as I work, according to what I'm doing. On my laptop, with limited screen, this is important to how I work.

Bug Report:

Whenever I change text size within, for example ESV, the Bible Ref in the Reference Box stays the same, but the text below is generally wrong, and can be off by 5 or 10 verses. Its even worse with the Interlinear enabled, and the original verse can be many pages or line scrolls away!

If one clicks into the Reference Box and hits return or clicks the arrow, even then the ESV text does NOT return to the correct location (maybe because it thinks its already there).

Please fix this bug, so it always relocates to the verse in the Reference Box, after any scaling or text resize.

Example graphic shows ESV after a scale change. The ESV text is not anything like the location of the Reference Box.

I haven't been able to reproduce this with text size or scaling changes, but have submitted your report to development. I can reproduce the problem when I disable Inline Display.

I just attempted to have another mess around with this to see if I could get something more specific for the Resize portion.

It appears that the application attempts to put the target reference on about the 3rd line of the panel, and use the 1st line as the reference for screen position. So any time there is a size change, it tends to redraw based on that 1st line, rather than the actual reference. For minor changes its mostly a small impact, but for big size changes, or turning Inine Interliner stuff on/off its really messes up by many many lines.

Strangely, if one highlights the reference box and hits arrow or return, it does not relocate back to the verse, which can still be way off the top of bottom of the panel.

If the reference is the first verse of a block, e.g. John 10:1, then resizing appears to be OK. If the target is in the middle of some text, like John 10:12, then the 1st/3rd line thing above seems to dominate how the text is positioned within the panel.
