What is so good about preaching suite?
For me, it allowed me to gain access to the word processor without buying a lot of other things that I could not afford yet. I also gained access to some books on preaching, which I wanted access to read as I attempt to incorporate preaching outlines into my academic writing outlines when that is appropriate and allowed.
I don't ever expect to "preach", but I think I need to know more about preaching, and to know more about it sooner rather than later. I have learned to trust my gut, even when I cannot explain why or even imagine why I should do something.
I do know that I am incredibly grateful for the Preaching Suite option.

What is so good about preaching suite?
I'm a thinking.... Logos set it up as an introductory type bundle to try to help preachers and maybe new preachers that don't have much resources yet. I don't have it as I'm a kind of "put on my own boots, my way" type of cowboy. And along with that... I'm a also thinking that preachers are people that preach the Word of God... so you need a good Bible... (I like the NKJV as it was the one the Apostles carried around in the hip pocket of their Levis -- lol).
But aside from a good Bible.... then add resources as you see fit to help with your understanding of the Bible. This way you will build your own "preaching suite"... and not "wear another man's boots" so to speak. [8-|] Years ago, I bought a pair of used boots... they hurt my feet soze I promised not to do that again!

For most of us, an entire suite is the same price as the word processor and only a couple books. I have been shocked to realize that sometimes in Logos, buying a single book costs more than buying a package that contains that book.
Some features are far less useful when owned alone, instead of combined with other features. We don't know what we don't know: newbies can have a crippled or bottle-necked search experience because they are missing a critical feature or resource that other features and resources depend upon.
