Is there specific syntax to link to NIDNTTE

Hi,

is there a specific syntax for NIDNTTE entries, or are these just @headword+el items? I would like to link to some of them from my PBB so I'm trying to figure out the proper syntax. I've seen PBB wiki page, but it only gives info for STrg and LN lexicon entries.

I would like to link to some of them from my PBB

1. position your lexicon to the required lemma

2. open the Panel menu (three dots icon)

3. select the Wiki link and paste it into your docx file e.g.

[[ἐνδόμησις >> https://ref.ly/logosres/dblgreek?hw=%E1%BC%90%CE%BD%CE%B4%CF%8C%CE%BC%CE%B7%CF%83%CE%B9%CF%82]]

The lemma will be visible as a hyperlink in the compiled PBB. It will link directly to your lexicon (DBL Greek in this case).

You needed to look under Resource links.

I might have asked the worng question...

words in resources using strongs or LN ar tagged with:

[[GreekStrongs:G3056]]
[[LouwNida:LN93.387]]

Is there a similar datatype for NIDNTTE or is it just [@Headword:λογος]

so I can "link" to NIDNTTE by creating a universal reference? Does this make more sense?

Excuse me but I might have the answer if I weren't baffled by the NIDNTTE abbreviation which means nothing to me and is not meaningful to my library.

I don't have it in my library to check but under the information panel index section you should be able to see if it has its own datatype for indexing or if you select an entry in it, open the context menu, select reference and run a search you should be able to see if the search uses a datatype specific to the resource.

NIDNTTE has two relevant indexes, Greek Headwords (like most lexicons) and DBL Greek https://ref.ly/logosref/DBLGreek.DBLG_1504 - this reference link will thus always open NIDNTTE provided it is prioritized above the DBL Greek lexicon, should you own it (and possibly above other lexicons that might use DBL Greek which I don't know of). Does this help?

Sorry I was not clearer. One can use the search that is built automatically to get the FORMAT of the link. You then have to modify the format to reflect the Greek lemma for each link.

That depends on the reference you select. This resource was built to maximize its usefulness in Logos. DBL Greek has five indexes

Greek Headwords,
Greek Strongs,
the GK-numbers you showed earlier in a link example, which give the ordering within the book
TDNT ("Kittel")
and its own DBL numbers index (which seems to be like GK numbers, but disambiguating the different LN-based meanings)

which means you can show different indexes in the locator bar, see them all in the right-click menu and make different links when you use "copy reference" from there.
