Custom Reading Plans - The Bible Recap
Since we are less than two weeks from New Years, it seems like a good time to start a thread about Reading Plans.
This year, my wife and I are hoping to follow the Bible Recap plan. (http://www.thebiblerecap.com/start with the details here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GhNKG1nMy1WiqWV94FOnJxUuyIxEuaQB/view ).
I can create a custom reading plan, but I'm wondering if someone has already done so.

Hmmm. 365 sessions would be a lot of work, but it has to be a custom plan.

Done. If anyone is interested, I have named the reading plan "The Bible Recap" and made it available as a public reading plan.
The Bible Recap is a chronological Bible reading plan with an accompanying daily podcast to introduce the daily reading. (There is an app to keep the readings on track, but I like to do my reading in Logos, hence the reading plan.)

Thanks, David. That had to be a lot of work!

Fantastic! My wife is about done with this plan for 2021, but we are going to be doing it together in 2022 and I was just going to sit down and start working on it today when I found this!
Bless you sir, this was a great Christmas gift! [:D]

Glad it is going to be used!
Just to give credit where due, yesterday I learned from one of The Bible Recap introductory podcasts that their reading plan is from https://www.blueletterbible.org/assets/pdf/dbrp/1Yr_ChronologicalPlan.pdf .

Thank you very much for the reading plan. I am about to investigate the podcast.

Just as a heads-up, I have noticed a few necessary edits are required for the following dates -
July 1, Dec. 15, Dec. 25, and Dec. 27
These four days contain the readings for books of the Bible with only one verse. I entered them as, for example, Obadiah 1. Since Obadiah has only one chapter, Logos interprets this as only reading verse one.
If I were to correct this reading plan today, would it affect others who might currently be following this shared reading plan? Either way, I will plan to make corrections by Jan. 1.

It isn't shared in a dynamic sense if it is made Public. Current users who obtain the latest Plan will have two different plans and can decide which one to use.

Wonderful! I came here to see if this was being addressed as I just hit the "Philemon" one today.
And thanks so much for your hard work of getting this plan into Logos - it's been a blessing!

I have just made all the changes that I noted in my Dec. 11 post.
And, thanks to the creators of the Logos Wiki page. The entry on Reading Plan (Basics), (https://wiki.logos.com/Reading_Plan_$28Basics$29#A_Reading_Plan_with_Customizable_Sessions ), especially the "Editing The Plan" section, was invaluable.

Just wanted to say thanks again. Now on to the *new* 2023 plan!

Hmmm...on my Android app (haven't checked the desktop app yet), the single chapter books still show only the first verse. I removed and readded the plan with the Dec 26 date on it to the "yours" section of the Logos documents, and added that as a new reading plan. Any ideas?

David,
Thank you for doing this. I feel rather obtuse, but how do I find the link to your 'The Bible Recap' reading plan?
In Christ’s love,
Stuart

David, just wanted to drop an additional thank you for this plan. I used it last year as well (assuming it's the Bible Recap Plan) that I randomly found on Docs.
