Incidentally what's an MVP?
I always thought that it must have a sports provenance, since I remember MVPs being mentioned in connection with NFL Superbowls back in the 1980s when I first started following NFL games on British television and became a Giants fan. (Now there is an example of the triumph of hope over experience! [:S]) In the NFL context I think it referred to Most Valuable Player.
Or have I got that wrong?

ah, the pits and perils of the quote button ...

Yes, MJ already alluded to that above. Cearly the Microsoft MVP program was a take-off on the Most Valuable Player award from sports. And since we MVPs love playing around with Logos, Most Valuable Player could apply to us as well. Or Most Verbose Poster. Or Most Virulent Procrastinator. Or, in some cases, Most Voracious Purchaser. Martha, you mean, you recall 1913?!! Wow!
Yes, I inherited Dad's memories this March. He was born in 1912 so it was quite a treasure trove.

That is why I thought in Logos it meant Most Valuable Poster. I believe Major League baseball was first with an MVP award which was given to one player in each league for an entire season.
OOPS, I just saw Martha's 1913 post. I thought baseball was first because I followed baseball long before I watched football. Baseball has been around longer than football.

Yes, but not with some system that throws pairings of options at you until you get tired of it. Just rank them in order of your most favorite to least favorite. [;)]
