New ad popping up?
Is there a way to stop (not just close this instance) these ads from popping up at the top of the Home Page? Especially since they come up on every program start, as well as every time an F5 is done to refresh the page, which is necessary to get the date to advance if you leave the app up overnight? So you will get it every day no matter what you do...

That is the banner - it appears to stay closed across refreshes if you click on the close symbol.

That's good to know, but as I stated the problem in the OP, it comes back up on F5, and it's up when you start the program - at least with Verbum/Mac. It is incredibly annoying to see ads for base packages I already own.

To clarify, the top Home page settings button (which looks like a gear wheel) has an option for Banner On/Off.
