The actual resources will depend on the package your own and what additions you have purchased.
What do you mean by this? What are the different additions I can have. I thought it was one resource.

Over the years many scholars have produced multiple apparati for the text of the New Testament. Many of these can be included in our Logos Libraries. For example, when I was in school, the Nestle-Aland apparatus was the one the professors preferred, although there were a few other apparati I saw used, eg. the UBS apparatus and the apparatus in Aland's Synopsis. But these are not the only ones out there.
In my Logos library, I have the apparatus to NA28, as well as Metzger's textual commentary that expands upon the UBS apparatus. In addition, I have picked up Tischendorf, Tregelles, Alford and others over the years in various packages.
The exegetical guide collects this information, as well as the actual textual manuscripts you have in your library into one place so you can, hopefully, find all the information from these various sources - assuming you can decifer the various Latin abbreviations in many of these resources...
The software only displays what you have a license for - so the apparati that are the work of previous generations of scholars as well as any manuscripts you have in your library, with a few tools to compare and contrast the manuscripts. This may not be perfect. But it is so much better than what I had available when I was in school.
The Gospel is not ... a "new law," on the contrary, ... a "new life." - William Julius Mann

How should critical apparatus be represented in digital scholarly editions? How do I learn to weigh textual variants? What aids are available?
