Send to Sermon from Bible Resource

If there was a Menu Item or Items in a Bible Resource to send the current Reference directly to a New and/or Existing Sermon it would be great. When reading through a book several times, writers like me, often start to make divisions for each week in the planning phase. Not just expository sermons but any other would greatly benefit from this.

Building a separate Outline is time-consuming if you do this each and every day of your life. The Sermon Manager already functions as an Outline while Sermons are created. Items can quickly or easily be arranged according to preference. The Bible is of course the primary source and should therefore be considered to be the primary source for starting a Sermon.

The new Sermon doesn't necessarily need to open, only the Sermon Manager would be sufficient in this case. This feature could also or may be implemented as an option in the Sermon Manager's template section to indicate if it should be based on a currently selected reference or not.

I know that currently the Notes feature is supposed to handle this. The time consumed from Bible to Sermon gets too long if you already know where you want to drive to on a regular basis while reading the Bible.

I think I understand what you are describing - and it sounds like an interesting feature.

When you mention the idea of creating an outline, would just sending particular verses to the sermon be sufficient or would you require some form of note / comment to go with it?

I know that currently the Notes feature is supposed to handle this.

I just wanted to check you are aware that you can send notes directly from a Notebook into a sermon. How far does that go towards what you are wanting to accomplish?

Just adding the Selected Reference to the Sermon's Passages and adding it to the Sermon's Editor would be fine. The idea here is speed not notes, if notes are needed we have the notes tool. When I reach the point where I want to write a Message, I already have everything in my heart. If not, the text did not change or grow on me already during my study and I'm not worthy to write it down. My context currently is doing a Series as I go through the Book of Revelation. Each day (morning or evening) I write a Devotional and record it for the next day. The fact that I need to sit down at my Laptop and recreate what I already did in my mind on the road, is kind of frustrating. I just want to be able to go straight to the Bible to the Sermon without thinking about the process to get there. I used to prepare and preach directly from memory but the need for those messages to be preserved in literary form became relevant.

I know that if it's already in my heart I should be able to just type the references in the Editor, but I already typed it in the Bible or scralled to it as my source. Sometimes I decide on an outline for the week while driving, reaching my laptop or phone, I would just like to go to the Text in the Bible and Send verses each to its own Sermon in chronological order.

I am aware of this, but that doesn't skip the loop through an extra Tool.
