Forum Question - Filtering Out Categories

I come to the forum several times per day. What I usually do is look at the "Recent Topics" section.

What I would like to do is to filter out categories that do not interest me. Mostly, the Mac ones, as I do not use a Mac. If I did, I would like to filter out the PC ones in the same way.

For the last few days, many of the recent topics have been Mac-related because of the new beta. That's to be expected but it does not pertain to me.

Is there any way to filter out categories and make them stay that way?

I know the forums are a very valuable fount of knowledge, however, I find them more time consuming lately due to the navigating around Mac issues, more inefficient and less rewarding personally.   So, I do identify with what Jerry has posted.

Not that I'm aware of Jerry, but I am working on a script in my currently non-existent free time that would auto-mark the forums you don't care about as read.  I'm just not there yet.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.
