Many years ago I brought a floppy disk home from my local Christian
bookstore, loaded the program into my computer and saw magic!! I was able to
click on a Greek or Hebrew word and up came a Greek or Hebrew dictionary.
Wow!
The Exegetical Summary series is the next BIG step in the magic.
When all the
links are up and going, this will be the core of my Libronix
study.
Bring it on, Libronix!!
Just a few curious onbservations .....
1. The Exeg Summary refers to Paul Barnett's excellent large commentary on 2
Corinthians in the NIC2 series . It is not yet out in Libronix
format.
However, when I clink on the link, up pops Paul Barnett's excellent
small
commentary in the Bible Speaks Today series.
2. Could someone replicate this strange behaviour, and perhaps one of you
retired guys who has nothing else to do could explain what is going
on.
Set up ......
1. Open Exegetical Summary at 2 Cor 8, linked
with UBS handbook.
2. Scroll through the UBS Exeg Summ
3.
Note what happens whenever the Exeg Summary passes through a section
...
called DISCOURSE UNIT.
What I find is that the UBS handbook leaps
into Deuteronomy and goes to page number!!
Here are the details .... the first verse is the
section start in 2
Corinthians, the second verse is the leap into
Deuteronomy ....
2 Cor 8:1 // Deut 15:1
8:16 // 16:10
9:1 //
17:1
10:1 // 18:10
10:12 // 19:14
11:1 // 20:5
11:6 // 21:5
12:1
// 22:28
12:11 // 23:10
13:1 // 25:7
13:11 // 26:14
13:13 //
27:1
Can anyone else replicate this?
What is going on?
