Last week my 9 year old desktop computer began to stop intermittently without my consent. I made some efforts to find out the problem, but eventually it made its penultimate stop. The last test I did was to bend the main board and it started and was running 10 hours until it made its final stop.
Today I bought a new desktop, HP Z2, i7, kind of moderate workstation for technical work. It came with Windows 10 but immediately suggested Win 11, then I installed it.
My Logos library has 8207 resources, took 32 GB in the SSD. Download time 45 minutes and the indexing took also 45 minutes. The download speed varied between 50 and 400 Mbit/s. The fan was blowing but nothing exploded.
I personally was quite happy with Logos 8. Occasionally I used the new features of Logos 9 in my laptop. Now I don't have Windows 8.1 any more, so I expect Andrew Batishko will be happy.
The screenshot below was taken during indexing.
