Logos Web App and Biblia
What are the differences between Logos Web App and Biblia? When is one preferred over the other? Why does Faithlife have both? Which do you use and why?

Biblia was the first website. The Web App is an attempt to make a substitute for the desktop app. There is no reason to use biblia if you have access to the web app. On the other hand, if you wanted to direct someone to a free bible and they did not have access to the web app, biblia would be a good alternative.

Web App has better features and Biblia used to be the Spanish department blog, but got turned into basic Bible study website; like an extremely light version of studylight.org. Biblia is more open to the public and the web app is more personalized for you since it uses your credentials and your actual library to function.

Signing in unlocks most of the books in your library (some things aren’t available online or in the mobile app). Biblia also has an API to allows some bibles to be accessed from other websites or programs. Personally I find Biblia cleaner and simpler (and faster) than app.logos.com but much less powerful. It allows you to open and link two panes and to search your library. It also supports using but not creating reading plans. App.logos.com has much more functionality such as interlinears, guides, some interactives, maps, etc. App.logos.com also supports more complicated searches. I use Biblia for reading and for quick lookups (I used it a lot at breaks when I was working). I find both website useful for different purposes.

Agree. When I want a quick verse and short commentary, Biblia is it. While app.logos.com is yawning, and stretching its legs, Biblia's waiting for another verse. Also, it avoids opening an FL mobile and screwing up my layout.
But, when Biblia gets called by a verse ref (say, on the forum), it knows who you are, but ignores your layout choices.

I also find Bible.Faithlife.com (the faithlife study bible online) to be very useful and recommend it to people looking for free resources (I have a different log in so that I can see what is available for free. Logos has been quite generous in this regard🙂).
