For those L4 users who have the Early Church Fathers set, do you see Nicene and Post Nicene Fathers First Series volumes 7-8, 10-14 under the category Bible Commentary?  The rest of volumes are found in Monograph. Has anyone submitted a bug report?  See screenshot:

.

I didn't see any such reports lately, so I will submit one now.

Update:  I got the answers - thanks everyone - it's not a bug, just my misunderstanding of the set.

Some of the ECF volumes are commentaries, so they're tagged as such. It's actually correct behaviour, in my opinion.

Hadn't noticed it before, but I see the same as you. However, vol VII is Augustine's tractates on the Gospel of John, vol. VIII is Augustine's expositions on the Psalms; vol. X is Chrysostom on Matthew, etc.

I agree. These were tagged properly. Of course in Bellingham it would be correct behavior on their part. [;)]

    Hi Mark, Richard, and Mark

Thanks for the quick reply.  I guess that makes sense then. Still the breakup of the category for the series is a bit confusing for someone new like me  [:)].

I wish L4 allowed users to customize their library categories, or at least, have all volumes of a set displayed in a resource panel.  I don't know enough about Logos to see if this is possible.

You could simply put all the volumes in a collection. If you wanted to run a search on them you could specify the collection. (I have mine in two collections: Ante-Nicene, and Nicene and Post-Nicene fathers for just this purpose. I use them for the Cited By tool, as well.)

That's a good idea for the searching. But I was thinking more of the book shelf analogy for the GUI.  A list of all the volumes of a set in a panel so that I can just mouse click on any volume - just like looking at a shelf of books that all belong to the set and selecting a book from the shelf.

    What is the bug?

In http://wiki.logos.com/Metadata_correction_proposals I see one report for vol 6 that it should be a Commentary type when it is a Monograph. It has some merit but the material is selected Sermons. The other volumes can't be type Commentary because they are not indexed by Bible reference.

EDIT: I see the other answers. The ones tagged as type Commentary are OK!
