I was thinking about working in Sermon Builder on the web app but I don't see a way to make the panel tab fill the page as I do in the Windows desktop app. Is this not possible?

At the top right of the screen there is a button to change your layout. Try the one that's just the big square -- it will fill the screen with the one panel.
