Bug/suggestion: Selecting/deselecting Sections in Print/Export

In Print/Export interface for Beta3:-

1. Need Title of resource/tool at top of window or TOC.

2. For ESV/NKJV

Select Genesis (The Book heading is previewed)
Select Ch 3

Select Genesis & Ch 1 (Book heading & ch 1 previewed on p.1)
Select Ch 3
Deselect Ch 1

Result: first page is blank except for the Heading & Ch 3 starts on p. 2. The blank page can be avoided by de-selecting Genesis but then there is no heading.

3. For Mounce Exp. Dictionary of Old & New Testament Words

Choose article Error ==> preview on p.1
Select Enter in TOC ==> Enter is previewed on p.1 and Error on p. 2
Select E (article header) ==> E is at top of p.1 with the articles on pp. 2-3

The articles and the Header do not need to start on separate pages and there should be a meaningful Heading.

Overall, printed articles need a Heading that identifies the resource (incl. book/chapter as necessary) not just the header provided by the resource.

Yes.

I think we need to b able to get Book names and Chapter numbers onto each page too. Right now, its possible to get a bit of a mess.

This bug still exists in Beta 4. Please treat them as adjacent articles.

This is particularly important as the only output is to PDF/XPS.

This is by design--we won't be treating non-adjacent sections of a book as continuous for printing.

We will be adding and refining headers/footers for resource print jobs, which should better help identify the source of printed content.

Why? Is there some contractual or technical reason? Otherwise it seems like a waste of paper.

I don't think so. Multiple articles that span 2 resource pages are exported on one page. If you omit an article it acts as a page break! You may as well include unwanted articles to reduce the output pages!
