Large sermons on an iPad

I am making a sermon from my iPad.  It has gotten longer than what can be seen on the screen at once.  The text formatting bar is at the top of the window, but goes away once the screen scrolls it away.  From that point there is no easy way to get it back.

Is there a way to have that formatting bar stay at the top of the screen and not go away?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

    I don’t see this behaviour.

Which version of the Bible app are you using?
