Handouts - Inserting our own pictures

I talked with Customer Service this morning and discovered that I, the user, cannot insert my own pictures to be used in my handout. Logos Bible Software 4 is limited to use its own materials.

I would like the programmers to review this feature and consider making it possible for me, the user, to insert my own pictures for my handouts that I use in Bible class as the Pastor of the congregation.

    Good idea John.

Agreed. This would be a great improvement.

I agree as well. The problem with the L4 handouts feature has been discussed to great lengths on this forum. I addition to John's suggestion, I think the other two much desired improvements would be to let the user decide on how many pages the handout should be (and not locked into the limited choices we have) and then to be able to resize the media that we put into the guide. Because we are not able to do any of these things, creating a usable handout is a challenging puzzle at best, frustrating at worst.

Logos has indicated that they are going to rebuild the Handout feature because the current architecture is not adequate to support what users want to do with it. Whether or not it will allow for external pictures is unknown but it's a good idea.
